Our Foundation
Advocating for Children & Families
Loving Hands Enrichment Center was founded in 2006 by Tanya Lofty. The day school offers a safe, nurturing, and multicultural environment for your child's development from infancy through 5 years of age. As a mother of two wonderful young men, Mrs. Lofty has always had a love and passion for the enhancement of children and their access to education. With over 17 years of experience, it has allowed her to extend education to parents, staff, and colleagues.

The organization's service extends beyond the classroom with deep roots within Prince George County. Loving Hands Enrichment Academy has partnered with local school to assist students complete service hours, partnered the community organization S.O.M.E to deliver food to families in need, and have provided Parent Night Out after hour services for families. The organization is rooted in encouraging students to have an impact in their community early. In response to the Sandy Hook School Shooting students sent snow flakes to honor the lives of the children lost.

The organization facilitates continuing education for staff. In partnering with the Maryland Excels Program, Childcare Credentialing Program, and P.G. Child Resource center staff members have access to quality continuing education opportunities. Staff development efforts are also promoted by working with the Child Development Professional Development Fund, training, and mentoring opportunities.
