Loving Hands Enrichment Academy
Equipping the Next Generation of
Leaders and Scholars
Loving Hands Enrichment Academy:
Commitment to Community
Serving Prince George's County Since 2006
We are now an academy! We understand that to keep up with the demands of early childhood education, we had to do something different! We are equipping the next generation of leaders and scholars. We want children to know that they are leaders in the classroom and their communities. We must constantly meet the needs of the whole child, this includes their social and emotional well being. In turn, learning and academic success become inevitable.
We believe children should be able to explore, learn and discover in their environment. During early childhood, some of these activities are taught through play. Through play children develop social, emotional and ethical skills that are needed and provide them with basic life skills.
Our highly trained and educated staff deliver a number of innovative learning techniques to meet each child's individual needs. Our facility is comprised of culturally competent and responsive practices that include problem solving, self-help skills, interpersonal communication skills, and character building.

Thoughts From Our Families...
John Lewis stated, “Every student can learn, just not on the same day or in the same way.” Loving Hands Enrichment Center has embodied this idea through the support provided that allows ALL children to have a practical, equitable, meaningful, and uniquely designed academic experience that promotes their due success.
Loving Hands Enrichment Center ensures that all stakeholders have the confidence, knowledge, desire, and will to adequately create, internalize, implement, monitor, and adjust strategies and learning opportunities for ALL students. This is essential to creating a partnership where students are continuously first.
Loving Hands Enrichment Center holds true to the above statement by committing to life-long learning, a drive and determination for personal research and discovery, a consistent process of self-reflection, and an unquestionable desire for student growth and development.
As they strive to develop future astronomers, as seen in my son William Stroman and several other scholars' ability to name the planets in the solar system and share that the sun is not a planet but a star. And Medical Advocates, as noted in my son’s observation as I transform from mommy into mommy doctor, and he reminds me that he needs to see a doctor at the hospital because the level of care I am providing is incorrect. These young scholars are developing a voice that advocates and their brains are like sponges that absorb all the knowledge poured into them.
These outcomes result from the love, encouragement, diligence and consistent implementation of skills, the work environment, and the vast resources of knowledge and experiences at Loving Hands Enrichment Center. It is a place of trial and error, brainstorming, partnership, and successful collaboration to support ALL students. It is a space where differentiation would be second nature and a topic of community discussion. The environment is a space where staff, students, and families feel valued, supported, and confident in the skills that are critical to the development of our children. There is an overwhelming sense of community, partnership, and family here at Loving Hands Enrichment Center.
